It has been a frustrating time for exhibiting artists but thankfully some organisations have continued to do their stuff in creative ways.
When Dermod Ruddock, who was signed up to do last year's real life show at Ellesmere College, told me of their online exhibition I eagerly applied and was delighted to be accepted. They asked me to include a selection of abstracts and landscapes, all for sale.
As if I needed more incentive, the commission paid on painting sales is used to fund Art Scholarships for young aspiring artists. A very worthy cause and great use of the funds.
The good people at Ellesmere College have put together a great website featuring the work of a host of excellent artists, including the aforementioned Dermod. Have a look, see what you think, and why not make a cheeky little purchase?
